Q1 · Why the chosen option was wrong
In the CN design this catches readers guessing from the kanji 曖 ("dim"). That is a Chinese-L1 trap and has no real English-L1 counterpart. For English speakers it is mostly a filler option; anyone who picks it is probably guessing outright rather than making a pattern error. No tag assigned.
